천안이혼전문변호사 러시아가 격화하고 있는 이란 반정부 시위에 대해 “외부 간섭을 규탄한다”는 입장을 내놨다.
마리야 자하로바 러시아 외무부 대변인은 13일(현지시간) 성명에서 “러시아는 이란 내부 정치 과정에 대한 외부의 파괴적 간섭을 강력히 규탄한다”고 밝혔다.
자하로바 대변인은 미국이 이란 영토에 새로운 군사 공격을 개시할 수 있다고 위협하는 것도 “절대로 용납할 수 없다”며 그러한 행동이 중동과 국제 안보에 초래하는 재앙적 결과를 초래한다는 것을 명심해야 한다고 강조했다.
그는 이란의 발전을 저해하고 경제·사회적 문제를 일으킨 것은 서방의 불법 제재 때문이라면서 “적대적인 외부 세력이 대중의 긴장이 커지는 상황을 이용해 국가를 불안정하게 만들고 파괴하려고 한다”고 주장했다.
전날 세르게이 쇼이구 러시아 국가안보회의 서기도 알리 라리자니 이란 최고국가안보회의(SNSC) 사무총장과 전화 통화하면서 이란 내 시위를 “외세의 내정 간섭 시도”라고 규정하며 강하게 규탄했다.
이는 최근 경제난 항의 시위로 시작해 정부의 강경 진압으로 대규모 사상자가 발생하고 있는 이란 상황에 대해 처음으로 나온 러시아의 반응이었다.
러시아는 반정부 시위대를 진압하는 이란 정부를 연신 비판해온 도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령을 겨냥해 이 같은 입장을 표명한 것으로 보인다. 앞서 트럼프 대통령은 이란 정부를 겨냥해 “시위대를 살해하면 미국이 구하러 나서겠다”고 경고했다.
반면 이란은 미국과 이스라엘이 이란 내정을 간섭하기 위해 폭력 시위를 부추기고 있다고 주장한다.
러시아와 이란은 2022년 2월 러시아의 우크라이나 ‘특별군사작전’ 개시 이후 군사 분야를 포함해 양국 관계를 긴밀히 발전 시켜 나가고 있다.
히잡을 착용하지 않고 곱슬머리를 드러낸 여성이 라이터를 켜서 이란의 최고지도자 아야톨라 알리 하메네이의 사진에 불을 붙인다. 하메네이의 사진이 불타오르자 이 여성은 입에 물고 있던 담배에 불을 옮겨 붙인 뒤 하메네이의 사진을 바닥에 떨어뜨리고 손가락 욕을 한다.
이 영상은 소셜미디어에 널리 공유되며 이란 반정부 시위의 상징으로 자리 잡았다. 연출·진위 여부에 대한 논란이 있긴 했지만 미국, 독일, 스위스 이스라엘 등 세계 곳곳에서 열린 이란 정권 반대 시위에서 참가자들은 이 여성이 했던 것처럼 하메네이의 사진을 불태워 담뱃불을 붙이며 이란 정권에 대한 저항의 뜻을 표했다.
15일(현지시간) AP통신은 이 영상의 주인공이 캐나다로 망명한 20대 이란 반체제 인사라고 보도했다. 신변 안전을 이유로 실명을 공개하지 않은 이 여성은 엑스에 자신을 ‘급진적 페미니스트’라고 소개하며, 영화 <아담스 패밀리>의 주인공 이름을 본떠 ‘모티시아 아담스’라는 예명을 사용하고 있다.
이 여성은 최근 비영리 매체 ‘디 오브젝티브’(The Objective)와의 인터뷰에서 이 예명을 사용하는 이유가 “으스스한 것들에 대한 관심 때문”이라고 밝혔다.
그는 이란에서 반체제 인사로 활동하다가 체포돼 학대를 당한 후 튀르키예로 피신, 캐나다 학생 비자를 취득했다고 인터뷰에서 밝혔다. 현재 20대 중반인 그는 난민 지위를 받고 토론토에 거주 중이다.
그는 이란 정권이 인터넷을 완전히 차단하고 시위대를 향해 발포하기 하루 전인 지난 7일 이 영상을 촬영했다. 그는 인도 CNN 제휴 방송국인 CNN-NEWS18과의 인터뷰에서 “내 마음과 영혼이 언제나 친구들과 함께라는 것을 전하고 싶었다”고 말했다.
이 여성은 2019년 미국 제재에 따른 경제난으로 불거진 ‘피의 11월’ 시위에 참여했다 처음 당국에 체포됐다. 당시 17살이었던 그는 보안군에 체포돼 유치장에서 하룻밤을 보낸 뒤 가족들이 보석금을 낸 뒤 석방됐다. 이후 당국의 감시 대상에 올랐다.
2022년 히잡 반대 시위 때는 히잡 의무 착용에 반대하는 유튜브 프로그램에 출연했다가 발신번호 제한이 뜨는 전화를 받고 협박에 시달렸다.
2024년 에브라힘 라이시 당시 이란 대통령이 헬리콥터 추락 사고로 사망하자 이에 대한 이야기를 올리다 자택에서 체포됐다. 이후 심문 과정에서 심한 모욕과 신체 학대를 당했다고 그는 말했다.
거액의 보석금을 내고 풀려난 그는 튀르키예로 떠났고, 이후 캐나다로 오게 됐다. 그는 인터뷰에서 “제 가족들은 모두 이란에 있고, 며칠 동안 연락이 닿지 않고 있다. 이슬람 정권이 그들을 공격할까 봐 정말 걱정이 된다”고 말했다.
홈플러스 사태 관련 1000억원대 사기 혐의를 받는 김병주 MBK파트너스 회장이 14일 구속을 면했다. 김 회장은 대규모 채권을 발행한 뒤 기업회생을 신청해 채권 투자자들에게 손실을 끼친 혐의를 받는다.
서울중앙지법 박정호 영장전담 부장판사는 이날 특정경제범죄 가중처벌법상 사기와 자본시장법 위반 혐의를 받는 김 회장과 김광일 부회장(홈플러스 공동대표), 김정환 부사장, 이성진 전무 등 4명에 대한 검찰의 구속영장 청구를 기각했다.
박 부장판사는 “사건의 피해 결과가 매우 중한 것은 분명하나, 현재까지 제출된 자료만으로는 구속할 정도의 혐의 소명이 부족하다”며 “고의 등 주관적 구성요건, 논리에 근거한 증명이나 평가적 부분에 관하여는 충분한 분석과 탄핵 과정이 필요할 수 있다”고 기각 이유를 설명했다. 또 “소명 정도와 수사 경과를 고려하면, 증거인멸이나 도주의 염려로 인한 구속의 필요성보다는 불구속 상태에서 충분한 방어의 기회가 주어질 필요가 있다”고 밝혔다. 박 부장판사는 전날 오전 10시부터 오후 11시40분까지 역대 최장 시간인 13시간 40분동안 구속 전 피의자 심문(영장실질심사)을 한 뒤 이 같이 결정했다.
김 회장 등은 사모펀드 MBK파트너스가 보유한 홈플러스가 신용등급이 내려갈 것을 예측하고도 대규모 전자단기사채(ABSTB)를 발행하고 이후 기습적으로 기업회생을 신청해 채권을 사들인 투자자에게 손실을 끼친 혐의를 받는다. 신영증권 등 증권사도 이 채권에 투자했다가 손해를 본 것으로 나타났다.
김 회장 등은 지난해 2월17일부터 25일까지 ABSTB와 기업어음(CP), 단기사채(SB) 등 총 1164억 원 가량의 채권을 발행한 것으로 조사됐다. 그로부터 사흘 뒤, 한국기업평가는 홈플러스의 신용등급을 ‘A3’에서 ‘A3-’로 낮췄다. 홈플러스는 다시 나흘 뒤인 3월4일 서울회생법원에 기업회생절차를 신청했다.
검찰은 김 회장 등이 채권 발행 전부터 홈플러스의 신용등급이 낮아질 걸 예상했고, 이런 점을 숨긴 채 채권을 발행했다고 판단했다. 이 사건을 수사한 서울중앙지검 반부패수사3부(김봉진 부장검사 직무대리)는 이들에 대한 신병 확보 필요성을 강조하면서 지난 7일 김 회장 등 4명에 대한 구속영장을 법원에 청구했지만, 법원은 받아들이지 않았다.
김 회장을 제외한 임원 3명에게는 채무자회생법 및 외부감사법 위반, 업무방해 혐의도 추가로 적용됐다. 검찰은 이들이 1조1000억 원 규모 상환전환우선주(RCPS) 상환권을 한국리테일투자에서 홈플러스로 넘기면서 부채를 자본으로 처리하는 등 회계 규칙을 위반했다고 봤다.
이들은 또 홈플러스가 2023년과 2024년 물품 대금 지급용으로 2500억 원 가량을 빌린 사실을 감사보고서에 누락하고, 2024년 5월 1조3000억원 규모의 대출을 받을 당시 조기상환 특약을 맺고도 이를 신용평가사에 알리지 않은 혐의도 받는다.<p><span><a href="https://syschoolviolence.com/"
