마사지구인구직 지난 16일 발생한 대형 화재로 잿더미로 변한 서울 강남구 개포동 구룡마을 4·5·6지구 너머로 고층 아파트들이 보인다. 이날 화재로 129가구에서 이재민 181명이 발생했다. 강남 지역의 마지막 판자촌으로 남은 구룡마을은 3739가구 주거단지로 재개발이 추진되고 있다.
대전 대표 캐릭터인 꿈돌이를 활용해 청년자활사업단이 생산하는 브랜드 상품인 ‘꿈돌이 호두과자’를 유명 빵집 성심당 인근에서 만나볼 수 있게 됐다.
대전시는 15일 중구 은행동에 꿈돌이 호두과자 3호점이 문을 열었다고 밝혔다. 꿈돌이 호두과자는 대전시와 광역자활센터가 협력해 지역 대표 캐릭터를 활용한 도시마케팅의 일환으로 지난해 8월 출시한 먹거리 상품이다. 호두과자 생산은 중구 호두과자제작소와 서구 꿈심당 등 2곳의 청년자활사업단에서 하고 있다. 출시 이후 큰 관심을 모으면서 5달 동안 2억8000만원의 매출을 올리기도 했다.
3호점이 문을 열면서 그동안 두 곳의 생산 매장에서만 만나볼 수 있던 제품을 대전역과도 가까운 성심당 인근에서 구입할 수 있게 됐다. 꿈돌이 호두과자 3호점은 성심당 본점에서 도보로 6분 정도 걸리는 거리에 자리잡았다. 성심당을 찾는 관광객들이 자연스럽게 유입될 수 있는 입지를 고려했다.
매장도 성심당 주고객층인 젊은 세대의 취향을 고려해 꾸몄다. 외관은 밝은 레몬색으로 단장하고, 내부에는 꿈돌이 호두과자 케이크를 전시하는 등 디저트 매장 콘셉트를 담았다. 단순한 먹거리 판매점이 아니라 보는 재미를 더한 대전 필수 여행코스를 자리잡도록 한다는 구상이다.
대전시 관계자는 “성심당을 찾은 관광객들이 자연스럽게 발걸음을 옮겨 방문할 수 있는 위치에 꿈돌이 호두과자 3호점을 개소했다”며 “캐릭터 콘텐츠와 원도심 관광을 결합해 대전을 찾는 관광객들에게 새로운 볼거리와 즐길거리를 제공하는 명소가 될 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.<p><span><a
